Type 1 (or E) Seal
ASP Type 1 seals are ideal for use in most rotating shaft applications. They perform well
in a wide range of applications from water, steam, chemicals, etc. The ASP Type 1 has a
self aligning design that automatically adjusts fo abnormal shaft end play and run out.
It's non-clogging single spring
design makes it ideal for pulp and paper, waste water, and many other demanding
applications. The ASP 1 dimensionally conforms to ASTM F1511-94 and for most applications
is a direct drop in replacement for an original equipment seal. Seal Ratings: Pressures:
up to 425 psig, Temperatures: -20 F to +400 F (Viton®)
-40 F to +225 F (Buna-n)
