Grafoil Products
American Seal & Packing offers a wide range of Grafoil Flexible Graphite products. From the yarn required to braid packing to the packing itself we offer it. This includes the variations of styles such ar carbon cornered to packing with some inconel wire to packing that has every yarn woven with inconel yarn. The purpose is to increase the pressure capability of the packing, or to allow the packing the act as a wiper. These packings combine well in packing sets, preventing extrusion and sealing out VOC's from the enviroment. If you want he best you want Grafoil.

Grafoil® Thermabraid Pump/Valve Stem Packing
Braided Grafoil® flexible graphite Packing, with encapsulated E-Glass. Superior to commercial flexible graphite. 3200 Grafoil ® Packing has a higher purity and corrosion inhibitors that common "flexible graphite" just does not have. This prevents metal pitting commonly caused when using lower grade flexible graphite packings.
Suitable for high
temperatures to 1200 F in steam service, 850 F in an oxygen rich
atmosphere and 5400 F in a reducing or non-oxygen atmosphere. Speed 4000 FPM (Feet per
Minute) Pressure: 3000 PSI (200 bar )
pH 0-14 *may require end rings - Ideal choices are style 649 or style 90 Carbon Yarn Packing
