Graphite and synthetic fiber pump packing
Style 615 is a general service synthetic pump packing containing graphite and petrolatum, plus a proprietary high temperature lubricant. Excellent leakage control is obtained by a coating
that evens the surface and increases the sealing surface area. 615 is ideal for rotating pump shafts and can handle
mild acids and alkalis, air, industrial gases, salt solutions and water.
Temperature: to 500 F, pH: 4-10, Speed: 1500 fpm, Pressure:
To 300 PSI

General Service
PTFE and synthetic fiber pump packing
Each synthetic fiber of this Style 612 packing is impregnated with PTFE
before and after being braided. The finished packing also has
a break in lubricant added for easy pump start-ups. Used as
a replacement for the old asbestos packings in general service
applications. Good chemical resistance.
pH Range: 0-12, Speed: to 2200 fpm, Pressure: To 500 PSI
