Mixer Packings
Most Mixers are packed with PTFE packing again and again and again. The issue is Mixer Packings usually compress radially from shaft run-out causing leakage. Multi-core packings permit the natural recovery of Silicone to energize the packing, keeping the shaft sealed. A simple solution to a common problem.

Composite braid,
graphite impregnated PTFE self-lubricating fibers, braided around Aflas® rubber cord
forming a packing that offers excellent resilience and is resistant to chemical attack in
a wide range of applications. Designed to seal in applications where large run-out
or excentricity of the shaft exist or large deformation of the packing is required.
