Metal Bellows Mechanical Seal
In high temperature applications and in applications where seal springs clog, the metal bellows seal is a great solution. Because there is a static o-ring to stop contaminants from getting past them, metal bellows seals can be more effective than a multi-spring seal such as a type 8 (because the type 8's o-ring is dynamic). AS&P offers metal bellows seals in several designs including several for high temp (over 500 F) applications.

316 SS end pieces with AM-350 bellows core. Standard options are Alflas, Nitrile, EPR,
Neoprene, Silicone or Viton®.
Special options include metal impregnated
